Most members of this group probably know all too well that relocating in general can be stressful. However, a move to an entirely different country, such as Ecuador, certainly poses its own unique set of challenges and demands. It has been only four months since my husband and I landed in Quito with an immense sense of relief, but when we reflect on the past year, we cannot even begin to imagine having survived the adventure and all its ordeals without the support and expertise of one amazing Mr. Henry Padilla!

Our journey with Henry began nearly a year ago; however, it wasn’t until this past March that we had the pleasure of meeting him in person during a one-week visit to explore some real estate options. Over the last nine months, Henry has repeatedly proven himself to be a devoted, knowledgeable, and genuinely kind person – an all-around treasure!

Our relocation was rife with both major complications and inconvenient hindrances, alongside a light sprinkling of assorted annoyances and frustrations. Between being denied boarding by an airline and having our trip delayed by nearly a week, various issues concerning the sale of our property in the U.S., and a somewhat prolonged “clash” with Ecuadorian Customs, Henry maintained his professionalism and continually proved his immeasurable value throughout it all. His Ecuador concierge services were invaluable in navigating these hurdles.

Although our business relationship with Henry is still in progress, his selflessness, patience, and kindness assure us that we have also found a great friend, not only in Henry but also in his lovely wife, Janine. Of course, it probably goes without saying that we would not hesitate for a second to recommend Henry Padilla to anyone moving to Ecuador; he also offers excellent Ecuador visa assistance and truly is a “jack of all trades”! His support has contributed to our successful relocation story that we are excited to share with others.

Even though I knew my USA insurance would cover my care 100% with direct billing, the hospital insisted on a guarantee of $XXXXX and required an additional $XXXXX at the time of discharge. Feeling vulnerable after surgery, I was unsure of what to do. That's when I decided to call Henry Padilla.
